NAVY REGION SOUTHWEST ARCHITECT-ENGINEER (AlE) SERVICES
The Navy Region Southwest (NRSW), Community Support Programs (CSP) is seeking qualified AlE firms for the purpose of establishing a contract for professional AlE services for a nonappropriated fund instrumentality (NAFI) catering facility renovation project.
The resultant contract will be issued to provide professional AlE services for the Renovation of the
Island Club, located at Naval Air Station North Island, Naval Base Coronado, California.
This contract is only authorized for services paid with Nonappropriated Funds for Morale, Welfare, and Recreation projects. Nonappropriated Funds (NAF) are funds not appropriated by the Congress of the United States. No appropriated funds of the United States shall become due or be paid the contractor by reason of this contract.
The type of service required by the resultant contract will be full Design (including drawings and specifications) for some in-house construction and for other work that will be used to contract with general contractors (GCs) and/or specific trade contracts. The successful offeror will be required to prepare specific sections for Request for Proposal/Quotation (RFP!RFQ) in the Uniform Contract Format as well as other AlE services which may include site and geotechnical investigations, inspection services, space studies, construction cost estimates, work statements/specifications, interior decor designs, functional layouts, design drawings, and other types of AlE consulting services.
