NATIONAL PARK TRANSIT MARKET ASSESSMENT & FEASIBILITY STUDY
The Council is seeking a qualified
Consultant with substantial experience in preparing comprehensive transit market
analysis and developing transit operating plans. The purpose of the Yosemite, Sequoia
and Kings Canyon National Parks Transit Market Assessment and Feasibility Study is to
asses the viability of providing public transportation service between the city of Fresno
and Yosemite, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. In addition to evaluating the
viability of public transportation options for service to these national parks, this study
seeks to develop ridership projections and cost estimates for various operating plans
and strategies that could be considered for providing service to and from the City of
Fresno and the national parks.
