CONSTRUCTION MATOC IDIQ-VISN 2

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a request for proposal. This market research is being conducted to determine the availability and adequacy of potential Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) and Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSBs) prior to determining the method of procurement for the Construction Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for the VISN 2 Network Contracting Office servicing the New York State regions, including the Albany-Stratton/Bath, Bronx/Canandaigua/Northport/Syracuse Medical Centers, Hudson Valley/New Jersey/New York Harbor Healthcare Systems, WNY Upstate New York Healthcare Systems. This will be a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract for a Base plus 4 Option Years Contract. Up to Twenty Five (25) IDIQ contracts could be awarded to compete for each new task order requirement. Typical task orders will consist of providing all, labor, tools, equipment, materials, and supervision needed to provide construction services including renovations/alterations and new construction of hospital space. Significant sub-contracting opportunities can be expected to include a variety of trades including roofing, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, roadwork, paving, painting, masonry, fencing, and excavation. The NAICS for this acquisition is 236220, with a size standard of $33.5M. There will be 3 categories of contractors, ranging from Category I for task order awards ranging from $0-$2 Million, a Category II for task order awards ranging from $2-$5 Million, and a Category III for task order awards ranging from $5-$10 Million. The maximum task order amount issued under this MATOC will be $10 Million. If this is a service your construction company can provide, please respond to this Sources Sought by Friday, June 30, 2017, 2:00 PM (EST). All responding contractors must specify which category they will be interested in. Late responses will not be accepted. Responses should include the following: (1) Company Name and Address; (2) Point of Contact -Name and Telephone #; (3) DUNS #; (4) Veteran Owned, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business VIP verification (no large businesses); and (5) Verify company's ability to provide bonding up to maximum task order amount. Sources Sought is issued for market research purposes in accordance with FAR Part 10. No solicitation is being issued at this time. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this Sources Sought Synopsis.
