DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS

Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 22 is seeking Construction companies to support general construction, alteration, modification, maintenance and repair, demolition, design-build and new construction of buildings for VA Medical facilities located in Southern California (Greater Los Angeles, Loma Linda, Long Beach and San Diego), Arizona (Phoenix, Prescott and Tucson), and New Mexico (Albuquerque) and their associated clinics as required.
The VA is writing a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for construction services within VISN 22 service areas as detailed above. The intent is to establish a contract with a base year and four (4) one (1)-year option periods for the award of multiple Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts to a sufficient number of companies capable of handling the design requirements for all VISN 22 locations for the five (5) year performance period.
This meeting is critical for thorough market research by the government, but it may also help industry to understand the governments requirements as well as the considerations taken prior to selecting the set-aside.
The NAICS for this requirement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and it has a small business size standard of $36.5 Million a year.
The meeting will be held June 22, 2018, from 8:00 am 12:00 pm at the NCO 22, Long Beach Contracting office, located at: 4811 Airport Plaza Drive, Suite #600, Long Beach, CA 90815. The Industry Day will be held in the Training Room suite 150, located on the first floor of the facility. There should be ample parking available in the adjacent parking garage.
