Multimedia Upgrade
The U.S. Military Academy, Directorate of Contracting, West Point, N.Y. is seeking sources for the work to be performed as follows:
Below are the specifications to upgrade the current multi-media control system in the conference room. Upgrade must utilize current input and output devices except where noted or where replacements are necessary for functionality.
1. Contractor must provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment and supervision to perform the following scope of work for a 25 ft. wide, 33 ft. deep and conference room. System must be compatible with a possible future addition of a Video Tele-Conferencing system.
2. Touch-screen interface for single-point of access control system (minimum 12 quote mark diagonal screen).
3. Pre-program control system to control and power the following OUTPUT devices:
4. TV- Sharp AQUOS model LC-70LE847U (HDMI)
5. Projectors (x2)- Panasonic PT-RZ470UK (HDMI)
6. HDMI audio de-embedder- KanexPro HAECOAX (3.5mm stereo audio out to amp and speakers)
7. Audio volume controlled at input device except for TV tuner
8. Pre-program control system to control and power the following INPUT devices:
1. Desktop- Dell OptiPlex 9010 (display port/HDMI out)
2. Podium Auxiliary- HDMI cable input
3. 111. Wireless UWB - TruLink HD w/audio UWB system model 29354 (HDMI out)
4. IV. Cable TV Tuner- Ambery Model LCDT7 (coax to HDMI converter); control must include volume and channels.
9. Inputs and outputs run through a HDMI Matrix Switcher, Key Digital model KD-4x4
10. e. Control full up/down and stop power functions of two (2) powered projection screens- Access
11. Additional Notes.
1. TV has coax input and built-in tuner but isn't set up through matrix switch to control TV this way. Would prefer to use TV's coax input and tuner features but not required. No current power control -needs to be added.
2. Each projector has only a single HDMI cable from matrix box for input. No current power control - needs to be added.
3. Projector screens have hard wired remote boxes installed only. Wireless capable but not currently set up.
4. Desktop, matrix switch and audio amp are located in built-in podium cabinet (not rack mounted). Controller needs to be installed in podium cabinet and touch controller on top of podium.
