Multiformat 5-Channel Digital Video Server
The City through this Request for Proposals ("RFP"), is seeking proposals from experienced and qualified vendors to provide specified equipment, software development and systems integration for Public Access Community Television, dba channelAustin to improve delivery of services and programming for the City of Austin's three public access cable television channels. The City is requesting the Procurement and "Turn Key" integration of (3) Multiformat Studio Cameras, (2) Studio pedestals, a Multiformat 5-Channel Digital Video Server, all required supporting Multiformat conversion equipment, VOD & Streaming Services, existing Raid Server storage upgrade and the addition of (2) analog audio mixers. This purchase is for the replacement of an existing 3-channel Standard Definition server and (3) Standard Definition Sony studio cameras. This purchase is planned to meet the current and future needs of city's community media center. Due to the wide range of products and associated skill sets involved, the products requested in this RFP are grouped into three categories, or sections. Respondents may offer proposals for any or all sections, with no loss of consideration for responding to fewer than three. Each section has its own set of evaluation criteria and will be scored independently.
