The Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific at Fort Shafter, Hawaii intends to issue a solicitation on or about 1 Sep 17 for a firm, fixed-price contract for Tripler Army Medical Center for a multi-laser system with the following salient characteristics:
1) Shall deliver multiple wavelengths through both fiber (for internal procedure) and arm (for external procedures); 2) Dimensions shall not exceed 20" wide by 32" deep; 3) Shall allow for switching between wavelengths and delivery methods in seconds, without having to power down, rearrange, and re-boot a set of three lasers; 4) Shall have speed ranges from an average of 1 cm2/second to 5 cm2/second. With a typical area to cover a face being ~200 cm2, it would take ~3 minutes to cover the face; 5) Shall allow for unlimited use without additional cost - ie. no pulse counters, treatment cards, or consumable parts; and 6) Shall use standard open-source fiber optic cables for all of its internal procedures.

This will be 100% set aside for small businesses. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 339112, and the successful vendor must be registered in the SAM with NAICS 333112. The solicitation will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued, and no solicitation mailing list will be compiled.
