Multi-Room AV Refresh
The United States Marshals Service (USMS) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) for information gathering purposes only. The purpose of this RFI is to solicit industry's assistance and best practices to understand the elements/tasks that would provide the information related to the acquisition and installation of updated Audio Visual (AV) equipment for a multi-room training facility located in Houston, Texas.
This information gathered as a result of this RFI will be used to assist the USMS in determining how an assessment requirement should be structured and what components are necessary to ensure that the USMS is successful in executing a cost effective and innovative solution to upgrade the facility.
This RFI does not in any way constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) and as such, shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government does NOT intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice, nor otherwise pay for proposal preparation costs supporting submission of a response to this RFI. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI.
Vendors providing information under this RFI may be afforded the opportunity to submit a proposal in response to an issued RFP. In combination with additional market research, the Contracting Officer may evaluate Contractor size/socio-economic-status for set-aside considerations.
Please be advised that all information received in response to this notice will be considered procurement sensitive and will be handled accordingly. However, any information the contractor considers to be proprietary pursuant to existing laws and regulations should be marked in accordance with FAR 2.101 and 3.104-1.
This Sources Sought Notice is relative to the NAICS code 334210. The Small Business size standard for this NAICS code is 1000 Emp. Large and Small Businesses are invited to answer this market survey to determine market capabilities.
All interested parties are invited to attend a pre-proposal site visit scheduled the week of July 31, 2017. Location of the site visit is: 3 Allen Center - 333 Clay Street, Ste. 3050 Houston, TX 77002. All interested parties need to ensure they provide a list of personnel who plan to attend site visit, as well as any initial questions submitted by July 12, 2017 at 2PM EST to the Procurement office via SurveyMonkey link https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/AVrefresh1.
