The purpose of this acquisition is to obtain contractor support for moving services, furniture installation, warehouse management, inventory tracking and miscellaneous services as outlined in this work statement. This contract will be monitored by the U.S. Department of Education's (the Department), Facilities Services Division (FSD) office. The Department has approximately 3,500 employees located in 4 buildings in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Services may extend, on rare occasions, to regional offices located in Philadelphia, PA and New York, NY, which would require a Work Request.

The Government will award one contract utilizing the guidance provided under FAR 19.805- Competitive 8(a). In addition, the Government intends to make award based on technical acceptance, negotiated price in accordance with FAR 15.4, and fair market price as outlined in FAR 19.807. Award of the task order will be made on a competitive best value basis, using a "trade-off' among price and non-price factors, as determined by ratings assigned from a technical review panel. The relative importance of the non-price more important than price. The Department reserves the right to make award without clarifications.

All questions in response to this solicitation must be received at or before 10:00am Eastern Time on December 18th, 2018.


The technical and business proposals must be received at or before 10:00am Eastern Time on January 09th, 2019.
