2.The planned date of occupancy in the new facility is between June 15, 2010 and June 30, 2010. The actual move date will be communicated as soon as it is known.
3.QUALIFICATION OF BIDDERS: Bidders must be of known reputation and shall have sufficient qualified personnel and equipment to perform the specified services. Bidders shall submit with their quotation, evidence of their qualifications, which shall include:
A.Bidder shall have experience in the relocation of offices, including at least two (2) of comparable size and complexity within the last three (3) years.
B.Bidder shall furnish as part of bid, a list of names of moves undertaken, dates of moves, size of the moves, and the names and telephone numbers of responsible administrators who may be contacted as references.
C.Bidder shall furnish as part of bid, the name and resume of the person who will have responsibility for planning and directing the move.
D.Proof of Workers Compensation, Public Liability and a Cargo Transit Policy with all risk coverage in an amount of not less than $100,000.
The contractor shall be required to participate in a comprehensive move planning session with State personnel. Also, the successful bidder shall participate in additional in-depth sessions as may be deemed necessary to insure a coordinated, efficient move and provide a finalized move plan no later than fourteen (14) calendar days prior to start of move. These meeting places and dates shall be communicated to the successful bidder at a later date.
