The Government intends to issue a sole source, firm-fixed price contract to procure 6 Ant Drive Motors (part # 293096-1, made to cage 24930) from Harris Corp., Cage: 24930. The Government does not possess the technical data package (TDP). The TDP is proprietary to the original manufacturer. All interested sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by this agency. The FOB point is Source. Solicitation: SPRMM1-18-R-WE60 closing date 11 May, 2018. Engineering, manufacturing, or performance characteristics indicate that the required design objectives have not been achieved. Major changes are contemplated because the part has a low process yield or has demonstrated marginal performance during tests or service use. These changes will render the present part obsolete and unusable in its present configuration.
