Description: A. This Project consists of constructing the flatwork/foundation for a Cowpuncher garage on the Monticello District. The work will include selective demolition, civil work and construction of the concrete slab/foundation.
1. Demolition Work
a. Fencing of the contractor's work area and isolation of the work site.
b. Removal of existing trees and vegetation and recycling and disposal of materials.


2. New construction work
a. Coordination, documentation, supervision and assistance to meet the requirements to meet two Green Globes as defined by the Green Building Initiative
b. Disposal, recycling and salvage operations.
c. Erosion and sedimentation control.
d. All staging, earthwork, trenching and site prep
e. Fencing of the contractor's work area and isolation of the work site.
f. Installation of concrete flatwork, concrete footings and foundation.
g. Construction of a slab/foundation for a Cowpuncher Garage on the Manti-La Sal National Forest. Work for the building will include, but is not limited to: concrete footings and foundations, excavation of poor soils, structural fill, concrete slabs, structural reinforcement, damp proofing.


Project is located at Gooseberry Guard Station on North Elk Ridge within the Abajo Mountains, within the forest boundary and located on Forest Service property.


Estimated Magnitude: Less than $25,000



SAM REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award.
