The Department of State is conducting market research to determine the degree of interest and capabilities of local U.S. Small Businesses only in providing monthly forklift maintenance services in the Springfield and Lorton VA area. The Department of State, Office of Logistics Management- Logistics Operations Division utilizes a fleet of over two dozen electric and non-electric forklifts to support two local warehouse locations. The NAICS code for these services is 811310.
Potential sources required capabilities:
- Experience in full maintenance and repairs of Electric and Non-electric sit-down and stand-up forklifts. Experience in maintenance and repairs of all major forklift brands to include, Hyster, Toyota, and Hale etc.
-Prime contractor services only, contractor staff that provide maintenance and repairs must be employed by the prime contractor.
-Contractor Location: Prime contractor and their repair facility must be located within 40 miles of 7500 Boston Blvd, Springfield VA.
-24 hour emergency service available.
