Montgomery Regional Office - Install automatic door openers
PRESOLICITATION NOTICE to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses interested in minor construction project at VA facility in Montgomery, Alabama. NAICS to be used is 236220 with size standard of $33.5M. The range of magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. Set-aside will be 100% for SDVOSB.
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to install six automatic door openers at Montgomery VBA Regional Office located at 345 Perry Hill Road, Montgomery, AL 36109. The period of performance shall be no more than 60 days from issuance of the notice to proceed to completely finish the entire project. In order to provide continued support to our Veterans work will take place during after-hours, 6:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m., Monday thru Friday, weekends only as approved by the Contracting Officers Representative (COR).
Anticipated date of issuance and availability of hard copy of Request for Proposal (RFP) is on or about August 5, 2014. One (1) site-visit will be scheduled and will be incorporated in the solicitation along with instructions for contractors. Offerors are instructed to hold all questions until after the site visit. Questions will be accepted ONLY in writing. NO PHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED. A list of the questions, along with answers, will be published on FBO through issuance of amendment to the solicitation. It is the responsibility of offerors to obtain all amendments and/or other applicable documents. Offerors will be required to submit references for past and/or present performance.
Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value to the government, taking into consideration technical and cost factors, and any associated sub-factors. Evaluation factors will be set forth in the RFP.
Prior to award, offerors must be registered in SAM, at www.sam.gov, and registration must be current. Also required, as SDVOSB you must be registered in VetBiz at www.vetbiz.gov and VETS-100 (DOL) at http://www.dol.gov/vets/programs/fcp/main.htm. Again, NAICS 236220 will be used in determining small business status of offerors. Email responses confirming interest in this project are welcomed.
