Monitoring Services for Upper Truckee River SEZ Restoration Area & Various Other Programs

The City of South Lake Tahoe (City) is soliciting written proposals from qualified consulting firms, or individuals (Consultant) to perform monitoring and monitoring related testing services for various City projects and programs. The Consultant will demonstrate ability to perform all work necessary to complete the development, implementation and reporting of scientifically defensible monitoring for the various City programs, which may include the following: Environmental Improvement Program (EIP), and Capital Improvement Program (CIP), and the Storm Water Management Program (SWMP). Services described herein will supplement the existing City staff to perform monitoring related duties. For example, such services may be required before, during and after the construction of improvements to document effectiveness of various City projects and programs. In addition, services may be required for various program activities to evaluate compliance with the current National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Municipal Storm Water Permit. The City anticipates implementation of a Total Maximum Daily Load and may require Consultant services to evaluate Pollutant Load Reduction scenarios with respect to various program activities.
Project Details: The City intends to immediately select a Consultant for the Upper Truckee River SEZ Restoration Area as well as create a roster or pre-qualified Consultants for various future projects and program activities.
