Source Sought Notification

The Regional Health Contracting Office - Central has a requirement for in-vitro diagnostic test reagents and supplies for Molecular BeadChip testing compatible with the BioArray Array Imaging System (AIS 400) and utilizes the BioArray Solutions Information System Software (BASIS). This is a Government-owned system.

Our customer, the Department of Pathology, Microbiology Section, Immunology Lab at San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC) Joint Base San Antonio, Ft. Sam Houston, Texas requires the following reagents/supplies:

0001

HEA 1.2 BeadChip Kit, Slide CT

Salient characteristics: in vitro diagnostic reagents for the molecular determination of allelic variants that predict erythrocyte antigen phenotypes in the Rh (C [RH2], c [RH4], E [RH3], e [RH5], V [RH10], VS [RH20]); Kell (K [KEL1], k [KEL2], Kpa [KEL3], Kpb [KEL4], Jsa [KEL6], Jsb [KEL7]); Duffy (Fya [FY1], Fyb [FY2], GATA [FY-2], Fyx [FY2W]); Kidd (Jka [JK1], Jkb [JK2]); MNS (M [MNS1], N [MNS2], S [MNS3], s [MNS4], Uvar [MNS-3,5W], Uneg [MNS-3,-4,-5]); Lutheran (Lua [LU1], Lub [LU2]); Dombrock (Doa [DO1], Dob [DO2], Hy [DO4], Joa [DO5]); Landsteiner-Wiener (LWa [LW5], LWb [LW7]); Diego (Dia [DI1], Dib [DI2]); Colton (Coa [CO1],Cob [CO2]); and Scianna (Sc1[SC1], Sc2 [SC2]) blood group systems in human genomic DNA.  The reagents must also detect the HgbS mutation in the beta globin gene.  The reagents must be compatible with a BioArray Array Imaging SystemTM (AISTM 400), with assay results interpreted, analyzed, and reported through BioArray Solutions Information System (BASISTM) software.

0002

Reag Box,PreType BeadCheck Kit

Salient characteristics: Quality control material for the PreciseType HEA BeadChip Kit.  This quality control material should consist of AA and BB synthetic plasmid pools intended for use as assayed positive controls for use with the PreciseType HEA Molecular BeadChip Test.  The Positive Controls must be designed to detect all A and all B forms of each genetic marker within the PreciseType HEA Molecular BeadChip Test.

0003

RHD BeadChip Kit,Slide 6x8

Salient characteristics: Reagents that detect 35 genetic markers within the RHD gene to include: c.8 C>G;697 G>A;48 G>C;712 G>A;48 G>A;733 G>C;186 G>T;787 G>A;209 G>A;807 T>G;340 C>T;809 T>G;410 C>T;835 G >A;446 C>A;845 G > A;455 A>C;848 C>T;In3+1G>A;885 G>T;In3 -19 37 bp duplication;1025 T>C;509 T>C;1048 G > C;514 A>T;1057 G>T;602 C>G;1063 G>A;667 T>G;1154 G>C;676 G>C;1193 A>T;689 G>T;1227 G>A;697 G>C).  The reagents must be compatible with a BioArray Array Imaging SystemTM (AISTM 400), with assay results interpreted, analyzed, and reported through BioArray Solutions Information System (BASISTM) software.

0004

Carrier Box, ETC, Slide

Salient characteristics:  An exposure test carrier to be used as a risk control device to verify the exposure time of a BioArray Array Imaging SystemTM (AISTM 400).
