Veterans Health Affairs, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing this request for information/sources sought notice in order to identify sources that have the resources and capabilities to provide onsite histotechnician services for Mohs micrographic surgery procedures performed at the Baltimore VA Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
Description of Work
Mohs surgical procedures are currently performed at the VAMC by a VAMC dermatologist. Contractor will provide a histotechnician to perform onsite tissue and slide preparation services necessary for the Mohs procedures, in-real-time, as the Mohs procedures are being done by the VAMC dermatologist.
Technical Requirements
Contractor must provide a histotechnician plus his/her equipment, tools, chemicals, materials and supervision necessary for the provision of onsite tissue and slide preparation services to process Mohs slides.
