Modular/Container Based Recovery Data Center
The County is in the process of designing a high density, state-of-the-art
modular/container based data center located at an existing County owned property.
This data center must be extremely innovative in design to support emerging and future
technologies for the next 10 years. The County’s business requirements make
modularity, flexibility, efficiency and agility key features of this design.
We are currently in the process of surveying County-owned properties with the requisite
infrastructure (space, utilities, connectivity) to host the data center. This facility will have
approximately 1,000 sq ft designated for locating the structure containing the data
center.
As this data center will be modular, we are openly seeking solution teams for this
project. The County is interested to see what concepts and features the industry
believes we require to make this a best-in-class recovery data center.
