Modification of Two (2) ER Segment Tags and Data Validation Changes
The Department is seeking to purchase the addition of two (2) new tags for ER2 Segment. These tags will be valid on any TOT that supports the ER2 segments. Tag byte position 401 will be denoted as DMV (domestic violence indicator). This tag shall contain only Y or blank. Any other data shall send transaction to ERT for resolution. Tag byte positions 402 403 will be denoted as VIC (age of victim). This tag will be numeric only with valid data being 00 99. Any other data shall send the transaction to ERT for resolution. In conjunction with these additions, Department requests validation changes with regards to multiple EHN and ER2 segments. Currently transactions with multiple segments are required to contain identical ORIA and OCA tags between the segments. Department requests this relation check be relaxed. Department requests the ability to process transactions that contain multiple EHN or ER2 segments with different ORIA tags and/or different OCA tags between the segments.
