This is a market survey seeking potential companies that can provide equipment and services required for the modification of the Integrated Control and Monitoring System (ICMS) for the inclusion of Runway 9C-27C NAVAIDS and Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) Systems at O'Hare International Airport, Chicago, Illinois.

This system has been designed to enhance safety, reliability and operational effectiveness of the entire air traffic control system. The equipment and services includes, but is not limited to, the following:

1. Design an 8-channel Frequency Shift Keying (FSK) drop-in replacement card for existing 4-channel FSK cards in the ICMS Concentrator for the Project to Establish the NAVAIDS for New Runway 9C-27C at ObHare International Airport, Chicago, Illinois.
2. Automate the interface to navigation and lighting aids equipment at airport facility. ICMS is currently installed and in use at ObHare International Airport.
3. Engineering of ICMS to design an 8-channel FSK drop-in replacement card for existing 4-channel FSK cards in the ICMS Concentrator.
4. Connect PAPI System to existing ICMS for monitoring and control to be accomplished by Airport Traffic Control Tower (ATCT).
5. Automate the interface to navigation and lighting aids equipment in an airport facility. ICMS accomplishes this automation in a No-Single-Point-of-Failure architecture. This means that any component of ICMS can fail and ICMS will report the loss of that component and will continue to function. The interface to the remote equipment is accomplished with redundant industrial grade computers called Concentrators. These Concentrators are linked to numerous ICMS workstations over dual redundant Local Area Networks (LANs). They collect status data from the Concentrators and present it to the user in a Graphical User Interface (GUI). ICMS also provides automated category management for each runway based on the status of all relevant navigation and lighting aids equipment. All commands sent to the remote equipment and status changes received from the remote equipment are time and date stamped and logged into an Archive File to achieve a bBlack Boxb on the ground feature. The installation and use of ICMS requires no modification to the remote equipment. ICMS can easily be modified to support other existing and future equipment.
6. Provide additional features, in addition to the control and monitoring capabilities, such as interlock configuration control, archiving and facility configuration management.
