Modernization & Consulting Services
The Housing Authority hereby requests competitive proposals from qualified Modernization & Consulting firms to provide modernization coordination, contract administration, and engineering services, as required to facilitate Capital improvements for the 40 unit family developments. The proposal will consist of each firm providing the required information, qualifications, and previous work experience, for the FHA selecting officials to adequately rank and rate the best qualified firm. In addition, since FHA funding is limited and appropriated by Congress on an annual basis, multi-year proposals are encouraged, with the services for the first determined, and Modernization & Consultant contract costs estimated for each future year, not to exceed three years. Options for each year thereafter, after the first, can be negotiated separately or discontinued by the FHA based upon acceptable Modernization & Consulting firm performance and the amount of grant funding received for that year.
