The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City (NSWC PC) intends to award a sole source purchase order to ATC Aluminum Trailer Company, 306 N. Nappanee Street, Nappanee, IN 46550 for the acquisition of three(3) Mobile Remote Magnetic Signature Test Facility Trailers (Part Number 53711-8324501 and 53711-8324502). This procurement is sole source for the following reasons. This low-magnetic properties trailer is specifically designed and outfitted to house sensate magnetic equipment and instrumentation in support of the deployed Explosive Ordanance Disposal Forces. The Mobile Remote Magnetic Signature Test Facility Trailers is a NAVSEA certified system. ATC Aluminum is the original equipment manufacturer and is the only authorized source for this item as dictated by the NAVSEA source control drawings 53711-8324501 and 53711-8324502. The components and raw materials that make up the system fall within the scope of certification boundaries. Substitution of similar materails and components are not authorized. In accordance with FAR 6.3021 only one responsible source will satisfy the Government requirement.. FOB Source. Deilvery will be made to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City, Florida.
