The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Philadelphia Office, intends to acquire, on a competitive small business set-aside basis, Mobile Lithotripsy Services for Naval Hospital Pensacola, FL. THE DESCRIPTIVE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS SYNOPSIS REFLECTS CURRENT KNOWLEDGE AS OF THIS PRINTING. THESE FACTS MAY BE UPDATED OR REVISED ON THE ACTUAL REQUEST FOR QUOTES, WHEN ISSUED. Naval Hospital Pensacola requires Mobile lithotripsy services to include Lithotripsy equipment, related supplies, and support personnel for the treatment of active duty military personnel, their dependents, eligible DoD civilian employees, and other eligible beneficiaries designated by the government. The contractor shall provide the Mobile Lithotripsy System and radiologic technologist personnel to perform lithotripsy procedures one (1) weekday per month, generally a Thursday.
The Government will coordinate a delivery schedule with the contractor one month in advance for each 1-month period. The MTF anticipates approximately 5 procedures per month.
It is intended that this procurement will be processed in accordance with FAR 13.5 b Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price service contract will result from this solicitation. It is anticipated that the basic performance period will be 01 September 2014 through 31 August 2015, with a 30 day start-up period making award by 01 August 2014. It is further anticipated that an additional four (4) one-year option periods will be included for a total maximum of five (5) years of service if all options are exercised.
This is 100% small business set-aside. The solicitation, N00189-14-T-Z076, is anticipated to be released by 01 July 2014 and will be made available electronically upon its release to www.neco.navy.mil.
