THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No solicitation will be issued. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract in accordance to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), authorized or required by statue. This is a one-time procurement. The VISN 10 Network Contracting Office intends to award a sole source procurement with Buckeye Power Sales to purchase:
Service for generator for the Cincinnati WAMC's Mobile Clinic. Vendor shall remove the generator from the coach and repair the alternator bearing and housing. Vendor shall provide all labor and parts to complete the repair.
The procurement will be for the VAMC Cincinnati, Ohio. The estimated amounted is $3,580.00. The Government believes that Buckeye Power Supply is the only company that can satisfy the agencies URGENT requirements. Therefore, the Government intends to proceed with sole source procurement for the required equipment. To the best of our knowledge Buckeye Power is the only source that provides the above indicated services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 811310 and the size standard is 500 employees. This is not a request for proposals; however, an interested party may e-mail a written capability statement for these required items, which shall not exceed two (2) pages in length. Interested parties may submit their capability statement, which may or may not be considered by the agency via email to [email protected] no later than 12:00 PM EDT on June 25, 2014. If no responses are received, the Cincinnati VA Medical Center will proceed with sole source procurement with Buckeye Power Supply.
