The 325th Contracting Squadron, Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, is seeking to solicit from companies within the industrial base to provide heavy duty marine diesel propulsion engines, marine reverse gears, engine control systems, and instrumentation guages sold as a package, for repowering three (3) Swiftships, Inc. 120 ft. 1988 Missile Retrievers (MR). The Government is seeking the most current and reliable propulsion systems that can be procured. The existing propulsion system is a non-fuel polisher Detroit Diesel (DD) 16-V-92TA marine engine. The Government is seeking the most current and reliable propulsion systems that can be procured as a complete package consisting of twelve (12) engines, twelve (12) reverse gears, 24 engine control systems, 24 sets of instrumentation gauges, 12 propellers, and 12 propeller shafts.
