Miscellaneous Housing Appliances
This notice is for market research purposes only. The Navy is seeking sources capable of providing miscellaneous housing appliances to be used by Family Housing Residents and Unaccompanied Housing Residents. The delivery locations will include areas within Commander Navy Region Europe Africa Southwest Asia (CNREURAFSWA) Naples, Italy; Sigonella, Italy; Rota, Spain; Souda Bay, Greece; Deveselu, Romania; Redzikowo, Poland; Bahrain; and, Djibouti, Africa. The type of appliances that the U.S. Government intends to purchase are U.S. and European appliances: gas and electric stoves; gas and electric dryers; washers; refrigerators; freezers; dishwashers; transformers; CO/Gas detectors; gas exhaust hoses; microwaves; dehumidifiers; and vacuum cleaners.
It is anticipated that the U.S. Government will award a Multiple-Award Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with a period of performance for a five year ordering period. Sources interested in this procurement are requested to submit a brief capabilities statement package with the following information:
1) Capabilities on providing housing appliances for the applicable delivery locations with the minimum specifications
2) Information on current or past contracts with Department of Defense (DoD), including but not limited to Department of State and General Services Administration. Include contract number(s) and any issues that arose during performance.
3) Feedback on the draft statement of work (SOW) Note: this SOW is only a rough draft and does not necessarily reflect the Governments current requirements; feedback should address current industry standards, delivery capabilities, and business size.

This Sources Sought is not a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote, or Invitation for Bid. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make awards, or pay for sources expenditures made in response to this Sources Sought. Any solicitation issued as a result of this notice will be announced separately.
