Minot AFB Snow Pusher
1) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; this is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and a written solicitation will not be issued.
2) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-96, Defense Change Notice 20171228, and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2017-1003.
3) The standard industrial classification code is 3531, NAICS is 333120 - Construction Machinery Manufacturing. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS code is 1,250 employees. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns.
4) Description: Heavy Duty Sectional Snow Pusher with JCB quick coupler mounts to mount to a JCB loader with a slip hitch. Snow pusher should have an outside dimension of at least 138" with a height of 47" and a depth of 73" with 32" wide Moldboards. Mechanical side panels as well as the moldboard sections need to lift up as the plow maneuvers over uneven terrain. The bottom of the plow needs to have AR400 hardened steel cutting edges.
