21st Century Community Learning Center Programs Evaluation Reports & Capacity Building
The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) is soliciting proposals to report on the impact on youth participants participating in 38, 21st Century afterschool programs in Minnesota and to develop a state level evaluation plan to measure the impact of future grants. The federal Elementary and Secondary Education Act/ No Child Left Behind (ESEA/NCLB) requires that each state education agency receiving 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) funds reports on the impact of those programs to the public on a regular basis, (Elementary-Secondary Education Act, Title IV, Part B, Sec. 4201-4026) In addition, the law requires that each state develop a state-level plan for on-going evaluation of the impact of program activities.
