Mini Converter Control Units (MCCU)

The Army Contracting Command - Redstone has a sole source requirement for eight (8) Mini Converter Control Units (MCCU), Part 011623W-00. The MCCU is used in Blackhawk in conjunction with the Heads Up Display (HUD) and Tracking System (HDTS). The MCCU will be used at testing of HDTS in Army Aviation units. The MCCU is not currently installed on these test aircraft.
Pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) this proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intents to solicit and negotiate with only one source: Elbit Fort Worth (EFW), 4700 Marine Creek Pkwy, Fort Worth, Texas 76179, CAGE Code: 0WEC9. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit proposal. This notice is NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTES. However, all proposals received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
