U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is anticipating to issue a firm fixed price construction contract for streambank stabilization at the Middlesboro Flood Protection Project Channel, Middlesboro, Kentucky. The solicitation will be posted on or about Augustt 22, 2017.

The range of magnitude for this requirement is between $25,000 and $100,000.


A site visit is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Savings Time. Prospective quoters are to provide their own Personal Protective Equipment including steel toe footwear, hard hats, safety glasses and reflective vests. Please refer to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.236-27 Alt I, incorporated by full text in the solicitation for information pertaining to the scheduled site visit.


Only registered persons will be permitted to attend the site visit. Please provide the name of your company, Company CAGE and/or DUNS number, and name and position title of primary point-of-contact and their telephone number and email address. Only two persons from each business entity will be permitted to attend. To register, submit the above information to Contract Specialist Kristal Jones, via email at Kristal.R.Jones@usace.army.mil no later than three (3) days prior to the site visit.
