Middle Mile Project
The University System (hereafter referred to as USNH)is requesting information for a sub-project of the Network New Hampshire Now (NNHN) Middle Mile Project, for the implementation of a 21-site, IP-based, high-speed public safety microwave network throughout the State of New Hampshire.
This sub-project will consist of the construction of a closed, middle-mile microwave network for public safety, public television, transportation, and mobile broadband communications on mountaintops across New Hampshire. The system will also include three (3) short haul connections between mountaintop sites to the middle mile fiber infrastructure being constructed in another sub-project of the same grant. It will also include a link with sites in Maine, Vermont, and Massachusetts.
The intention of this RFI is to gather information from experienced vendors related to existing or proposed solutions that best fulfill the needs of the partners. Each respondent will be invited to participate in a system research discussion with the Microwave Team, in order to share specific details and capabilities of the project and firm. )
