Microwave System Replacement
The purpose of this bid request is to replace the current County EMS microwave system. The replacement of the current microwave system is being driven by the age of the system and the inability to obtain replacement parts. The bid shall include design, licensing, installation, and optimization of the proposed microwave system. It shall also include de‐commissioning of the existing microwave equipment; including disposal of said equipment. The proposed microwave radio system shall not only replace the current system, maintaining the hot‐standby and existing redundant loop; but will also include current technology upgrades.
