Microfilming, Scanning, Indexing & Web Hosting
The City of Seattle (The City) solicits proposals for microfilming, scanning and indexing service on an as-need basis. For microfilming the Citys purpose is to continue to have the delivery of preservation and archiving services. In addition to the basic services, microfilming, scanning and indexing the City desires web hosting and document library capabilities. Web access will be available to internal City employees or their designee only.
The City will award solely on the basic services, microfilming, scanning and indexing, however, the City anticipates there may be users interested in Web Hosting therefore the City is requesting Vendors who have this capability to submit the Web Hosting section of the proposal. The City will have separate contracts for each service, microfilming, scanning and indexing or may award for multiple categories. At the Citys option, Web Hosting may also be awarded as a separate contract or may be part of an award in multiple categories.
Although the City does not require a local headquarters as a condition of submitting a bid, the City will require Vendors to discuss their local office presence, and if none, explain how the Vendor will assure the highest level of accessibility and communication without a local office presence.
