Metratranspirtomics analysis of 32 RNA samples
Referencing Solicitation Number 850965, This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for the following requirement for the U.S. Department of Agriculture ( USDA ), Agriculture Research Service ( ARS ), who intends to award a fixed price purchase order to the small business vendor that can meet the following need: The applicable North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS Code) is: 541711 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. This requirement is reserved exclusively for small businesses as listed above.
USDA's Requirement is as follows:
USDA is requiring 32 existing intesitinal RNA samples for metratranscriptomics analysis. Each of the 32 above listed samples shall require quality control testing, remove rRNA from each sample. Shall make cDNA library and sequencing, and prepare a bioinformatics analysis with gene expression in the gut microbiome and host, and shall provide statistical analysis for each group and shall also provide a summary of highlighted mRNA differences. This requirement shall provide transcriptome sequencing and RNA-Seq quantification using an Illumina, Inc. manufactured HiSeq platform with PE150 bp sequencing strategy. All Services must be provided 50 business days after USDA receives the library preparation confirmation form the vendor. Sample requirements are as follows: Greater than or equal (Amount) (Quibit) 2.5 ul., with a concentration of greater than or equal to 65 ng/ul.; and a purity level of OD260/280 of greater than or equal to1.8 with no degradiation or DNA Contamination.
