Mentally Ill Offender Crime Reduction (MIOCR) Grant Program
The Nevada County Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Nevada County Behavioral Health Department, hereinafter collectively referred to as County, is requesting proposals from all providers of community based adult mental health treatment programs that are interested in providing Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) services to the mentally ill adult offender population. Proposals will describe best practice treatment processes that serve mentally ill adults who have been arrested for a nonviolent crime and processed into the justice system. A member arrest could be a new charge or a probation violation, and the offender could be incarcerated or released after booking. Offerors submitting proposals will describe how collaboration and the integration of ACT services with other community services will operate as an element of service delivery.
