Mental Health Services Act Prevention and Early Intervention: Community Education and Supports
The City of Berkeley is soliciting written proposals from qualified firms or individuals to implement culturally-responsive psycho-educational support services aimed at reducing the effects of trauma and promoting wellness. Using Mental Health Services Act Prevention and Early Intervention funds the project goal is to reduce disparities and improve access for under- served and inappropriately served populations: African-Americans, Asian/Pacific Islanders, Latinos, LGBTQQI, Older Adults and Transition-Age Youth. As a Request for Proposal (RFP) this is not an invitation to bid and although price is very important, other factors will be taken into consideration.
