PROJECT NO 620-16-201 Mental Health AWE Corrections for Bldg. 4 at Montrose Campus, VA Hudson Valley Healthcare Castle Point, NY.
The Contractor shall furnish and install all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to make necessary repairs on the 1st Floor of Building 4 at the Montrose Campus of the Hudson Valley Healthcare System for compliance with VA Mental Health Patient Safety Standards. All work shall be performed in accordance with contract drawings and specifications. Work includes general construction, alterations, mechanical, plumbing, electrical work and necessary removal of existing construction, and certain other items as per the SOW.
The contract completion time is 300 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed.
This contract does not involve VA sensitive information and contractor personnel do not require access to VA systems. Information made available to the contractor or subcontractor by VA for the performance or administration of this contract or information developed by the contractor/subcontractor in performance or administration of the contract shall be used only for those purposes and shall not be used in any other way without the prior written agreement of VA.
This procurement is a 100% set-aside for a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Prospective contractors must be registered and certified in the Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) VetBiz Registry database prior to submitting a bid: http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov Prospective contractors must be registered and current in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to contract award: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ Bids will only be accepted from SDVOSBs that are determined to be responsible and responsive contractors. Prospective contractors must be approved under NAICS Code 236220, size standard of $36.5 Million. The cost range for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
A bid bond will be required, and performance and payment bonds will be required upon award of contract. The solicitation will be released on or around August 15, 2018. The bid submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. Specifications and plans will be available for download from the FedBizOpps website at https://www.fbo.gov Amendments to this solicitation will be posted on the FedBizOpps website as well. Bidders are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation prior to the time of bid closing.
