Memorial Statue and Plaque
The Police Memorial Statue Committee is seeking proposals
from public artists to create a memorial statue and memorial
plaque to be located at the new Police Station. The Committee
is seeking a proposal that will visually enhance the area in a
unique and engaging manner and that should be appropriate
for the site. The piece should be of a stand-alone nature and
be visible to drivers from the street.
The budget for this project is $75,000. This sum must include
the artists design fee, the cost of fabrication, transportation
and installation of the work, as well as travel, insurance, any
landscaping, lighting and other complementary elements being
proposed, and all other expenses.
