Meissner Sno-Shelter Construction

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Forests Service will be requesting construction of a Sno-Shelter building at the Virginia-Meissner Snow Park on the Bend/Fort Rock Ranger District, Deschutes National Forest. The intent of the Government is to award a single firm fixed price construction contract. Work includes, but is not limited to excavation and backfill for concrete foundation, Superstructure - framing, shear walls, windows & roof trusses, Exterior finishing - half logs, Interior finishes - wood panels & T&G board celing, Roofing - standing metal seam, and Electrical wiring and Lighting requirements.
PROJECT LOCATION: This project is located at the Virginia-Meissner Snow Park which is located approximately 14 miles SW of Bend, OR on the north side of the Cascades Lakes Highway at T18S R10E S28.
Contractors shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, supplies (unless specified elsewhere as Government furnished), and incidentals required to accomplish specified work in compliance with the terms, specifications, and provisions of the contract.
Contractor Qualifications: The successful offeror is required to be registered in the System for Award MAnagement (SAM) database prior to award. Registration for SAM can be completed at www.sam.gov
Work is estimated to begin around July 18, 2014 ending an estimated November 30, 2014. Estimated project value is between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS 236220, 33.5 million. This project is set-aside 100 % for Small Business.
