Medicare Direct Data Entry (Dde) System
3.1SERVICE GOAL
Maricopa County Special Health Care District dba Maricopa Integrated Health System (MIHS) hereby solicits quotations from qualified Respondents to provide a Medicare Direct Data Entry (DDE) System with the intent to manage billing Medicare electronically.
3.2UNIT OF SERVICE
One unit of service equals one Medicare claim.
3.3SERVICE OBJECTIVES AND TASKS
OBJECTIVE 1: Provide electronic Medicare billing.
SERVICE TASKS
1.1Contractor's system shall have the ability to sort by various methods, to moving claims though the DDE process.
1.2Contractor's system shall have the ability to provide easy correction of claims, in front end (prebilled) or returned to provider billed within the Medicare DDE system.
1.3Contractor's system shall have the ability to integrate with McKesson STAR and Epic patient accounting systems for automated claims transaction workflow.
1.4Contractor's system shall have the ability to provide a detailed description and workflow of connection to Medicare fiscal intermediaries and any other fiscal intermediaries as applicable.
1.5Contractor's system management of workflow shall be web-based.
