SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE
Description of Requirement:
Network Contracting Office 9 (NCO 9) is posting this Sources Sought Notice for the purpose of locating capable small businesses to provide two Locum Tenen Medical Technologists.
This is a contract for healthcare resources to be furnished on-site at the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS) Veteran Affairs Medical Center (TVHS VAMC) located at 1310 24th Avenue South, Nashville, Tennessee (the Nashville Campus) 37212; or possibly at the TVHS VAMC Murfreesboro Campus (Alvin C. York VAMC) located at 3400 Lebanon Pike, Murfreesboro, TN 37129. This is an urgent requirement for Medical Technologists to work on-site at either or both of the TVHS Campuses for a period one-year and the requirement shall include four one-year options to extend the period of performance.
The preference is for experienced Medical Technologists, however a recent graduate is acceptable if no experienced candidate can be located. The Contractor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the services described in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Contractor will provide Medical Technologist coverage services as specified in the SOW. All professionals providing services under the terms of this contract will be appropriately certified and/or licensed as described in the SOW, and shall possess the requisite skills and experience to perform the services as required.
Contractor shall not perform inherently governmental functions.
Qualified personnel must be American citizens (or offer evidence of a green card). Contractor s employee(s) shall be technically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfill the Government s requirements, to include the ability to speak, understand, read and write English fluently.
At this time TVHS is seeking to locate a small business provider for these services. Potential small business providers may submit proposals, including documentation of proposed candidate credentials and qualifications, in response to this Sources Sought Notice. If a capable small business is located the Government may make an award from this Sources Sought Notice. This requirement will be a single award however the Government reserves the right to make no award.
