This synopsis precedes the issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) VA244-17-R-0956 for Board Certified Therapeutic Medical Physicist (CTMP) Services. The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) has a requirement for two (2) full-time equivalent CTMP s working to provide on-site radiation oncology services and other services that would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility. The quality of care must meet or exceed all standards of professional practice and performance measures applicable to the VAPHS medical professionals, including, but not limited to, NHPP, AAPM and TJC standards and ACR current practice guidelines in radiation oncology.
The subsequent contract will be performed for the Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, University Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15240. As a result of the solicitation, the Government intends to award one (1) Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity, (IDIQ) Contract, made to one offeror who can successfully place a competitive proposal to provide CTMP services.
This solicitation will contain requirements for a five (5) year base contract with five (5) one (1) year option periods. The applicable NAICS code is 621111 with a size standard of $11.0 million in average annual receipts. The solicitation will be 100% set-aside to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). Offers from other than SDVOSBs will not be accepted. In order to be considered for award, you must be registered at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov and you must be registered under NAICS code 621111. Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal is responsive and conforming to the RFP, and are also determined to be most advantageous to the Government. The selection process will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 15 source selection procedures. Proposals will be evaluated on Technical Capability, Past Performance and Price Evaluation of the offeror s response to the solicitation.
The anticipated release date for the Solicitation is on or around March 13, 2018. The solicitation will be posted at this website, www.fbo.gov. All inquiries shall be in writing, e-mail inquiries to Bruce Jackson at Bruce.Jackson5@va.gov. All answers will be provided in writing as an amendment and posted to Federal Business Opportunities website.
