Medicaid Management Information System Consulting Services
The purpose of this RFS is to select a vendor that can satisfy the States need for
consulting services related to the States Medicaid Management Information System
(MMIS). It is the intent of FSSA to contract with a Contractor(s) that provides quality
MMIS consulting services for FSSA, as described in the Scope of Work.
1.4 SUMMARY SCOPE OF WORK
The State is soliciting a Contractor(s) to provide consulting services to assist the State by
reviewing its existing MMIS and making recommendations for upgrade or replacement,

reviewing business practices, processes, and procedures that impact the MMIS,
developing business and technology needs to help the State meet its goals, writing a
subsequent RFS to procure a contractor to design, develop, and implement a new MMIS,
and providing Independent Validation and Verification and Quality Assurance services
on the new MMIS as described in detail in the Scope of Work (Attachment D).
