The provision of long-term care services and supports is one of the primary functions of State Medicaid agencies. Long-term care services and supports include both home and community-based services and nursing facility services. These services account for over one-third of the total Medicaid budget. Medicaid long-term care services are administered by the Facility and Community Care Section of the Division of Medical Assistance. This Section is responsible for managing the contractual services described in this RFP.
