Medicaid Administrative Claiming Services
This solicitation is issued by the Department of Elder Affairs (DOEA) to select a Vendor to develop a proposal for submittal to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) requesting approval for reimbursement of certain Medicaid-related administrative activities associated with the Departments three (3) Aging and Disability Resource Centers (ADRC) and eight (8) Aging Resource Centers (ARC). These centers are located throughout the state in each of the Floridas eleven (11) planning service areas (PSA).
The completed proposal will be submitted in consultation with the Department of Elder Affairs and the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), the states single Medicaid agency, and will seek reimbursement for the ARCs/ADRCs staff members spending only a portion of their time on Medicaid-related administrative activities.
The selected Vendor will be responsible for defining, developing, and implementing a Medicaid Administrative Claiming (MAC) mechanism that recoups Medicaid-related expenditures for services and for compiling a proposal based on the claiming mechanism and the data it captures.
