The media and public relations consultant will work under the direction of the Executive Director of the Developmental Disabilities Council to provide the following services:
Technical assistance to the Council in accessing statewide media
Assistance in 􀂳packaging􀂴 the Council􀂶s message and presenting it to the media
Technical assistance in developing media strategies focused on public policy and legislative agenda.
Training on developing and delivering your message to the media.
Assist the Council to achieve 100 articles published in newsprint and other media educating & informing about the contributions of people with developmental disabilities each year.
