Mechanized Material Handling System
This sources sought announcement is to conduct market research with the intent to award a sole source contract to Lodige USA for maintenance and repair of a mechanized material handling system (MMHS).
Lodige U.S.A Inc. was contracted by HQ AFMC to develop, build, and install the MMHS as part of the Air Freight Terminal. The major components of this cargo handling system are customer specific and specially built for this unit. Therefore, locally sourced, off-the-shelf maintenance items are not available. Additionally, the Lodige technicians, as the manufacturers, have the specialized training necessary to carry out the preventative maintenance and emergency service required to maintain this system in optimal condition.

This is a sources sought notice to identify companies with the ability and experience to maintain and repair this mechanized material handling system for one year plus 4 option years at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey.
