Materials Testing & Inspection Services
The purpose of this solicitation is to obtain materials testing/inspection services related to Class II aggregate base, asphalt concrete pavement, Portland cement concrete pavement, storm drain pipe bedding, storm drain trench backfill, storm drain reinforced concrete outlet structure, reinforced concrete retaining walls, and 48 CML/CMC welded steel effluent pipe during construction of City Project No. 07-15 (currently out for bid) which consists of the construction of a master-planned storm drain system extending through the Palm Springs Wastewater Treatment Plant, with a new outlet into the Tahquitz Creek Golf Course. Upon completion, the master-planned storm drain system will be owned and maintained by the Riverside County Flood Control & Water Conservation District (RCFC). The services as required in this RFP will be paid from local funds and therefore prevailing wage rates of the State of California do not apply.
