Description:
This is a sources sought announcement being released pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 - Market Research. This Sources Sought Notice is issued solely to identify potential sources and determine their capabilities to fulfill the Government's requirement listed below and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future.
Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Sources Sought. All costs associated with responding to this Sources Sought will be solely at the respondents' expense. At this time, proprietary information is not being requested, and respondents shall refrain from providing proprietary information when responding to this Sources Sought. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the U.S. Government to form a binding contract. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this Sources Sought.
ACC-WRN anticipates issuing a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), 5-year Service Contract, consisting of one base year and four separate option years, to provide an annual multi-point inspection of, and to maintain 100% operability with no deficiencies of the equipment listed below including any and all unplanned maintenance which could occur over the course of each and every year of the contract. If a contract is issued, the awardee will be paid a FFP for each year of performance to supply all annual services and unplanned maintenance required to keep equipment at 100% operability with no deficiencies.
The age of 98% of the equipment below is 10-20 years, and 2% is 5 years or less.
