The intent of this RFP is to secure, in a substantial, complete and professional manner, all
necessary professional services for the development of an Airport Master Plan ("Master Plan") in
an effort to have The Region of Waterloo International Airport ("Airport") continue to be a centre for
aviation excellence. The Master Plan will provide a 20 year strategic framework based on sound
research to guide the community in future business decisions with respect to the Airport. The
Master Plan is to identify objectives and actions that are tangible and achievable and within the
financial capabilities of the Airport to implement.
Proposals may be obtained between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. from Procurement &
Supply Services, 4th Floor, 150 Frederick Street, Kitchener, Ontario, N2G 4J3. Vendors may now
obtain the bid documents on-line via the Region of Waterloo website. Please note: you must
register as a bidder in order to ensure notification of any addenda issued.
Proposals will be opened publicly at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, December 3, 2012, however, only the
names of the bidders will be disclosed. List of bidders may be obtained on the Region of Waterloo
website www.regionofwaterloo.ca/en/
